Volunteer Opportunities

Some people (parents or grandparents) prefer to work in the classroom on a regular schedule, others prefer to pop-in as available. Still others prefer to participate in one-time activities like chaperoning on a field trip. Over the year I will offer many different types of volunteer opportunities.

Tutors work in small groups or one-to-one helping students master addition/subtraction facts and sight words.
Room parents help organize classroom celebrations.
The Classroom Chef will help me with organizing cooking activities for some Friday mornings.
Chaperones on field trips will be responsible for a small group of students.
